However, a disadvantage goes hand in hand: the battery has a limited lifespan. And very often, after a few years of service, the connectors or the battery itself end up showing failures and no longer charging correctly or at all. In addition to battery issues, the power source, charger, or power board may also be responsible for the charging failure. If visually nothing seems abnormal, you can push the test, either by replacing the charger with another functional charger, but in this case, this requires having a spare charger or having it loaned by someone; either detecting the voltage at the plugs output using a multimeter set to Voltmeter (direct current). The voltage should be approximately the same as that indicated on the charger. Of course, this manipulation is only possible if you have electrical skills.

If you find that the base does not provide voltage or a voltage that is too low, then it will have to be replaced.

Also check that the two vacuum cleaner pods which rest on the terminals are not twisted. In the event that unfortunately it is the pods on the vacuum cleaner that are defective, it will be necessary to contact a professional repairer, to discuss with him whether the repair is possible or not.
