Reset the Freebox Delta remote control

  1. Press the small round button on the back of your Freebox
  2. Position yourself 20cm from the box
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions which first invite you to simultaneously press the Free and Mute buttons for a few seconds
  4. Release when the remote is flashing slowly

Reset the Freebox Pop remote control

  1. Press the button on the right side
  2. Position yourself 20cm from the box with your remote control
  3. When the screen tells you to, press the Back and Home keys simultaneously until the indicator light flashes

Reset Mini 4K remote control

  1. Press the button on the front of your Freebox Mini 4K
  2. Position yourself 30 cm from the box and remember to deactivate the Bluetooth of the devices around you
  3. Follow the instructions and when the screen tells you, simultaneously press the Free and Mute buttons
  4. When the light flashes slowly, release the buttons

Reset Revolution remote

  1. Press the small black button on the back of your Freebox Revolution
  2. Position yourself 30cm from your box
  3. When the screen tells you, press the AV and Free keys for 2 seconds

Restart your Freebox

If the reset procedure did not work and your Freebox remote control still does not respond, try to restart your Freebox Player by proceeding as follows:

  1. Disconnect then reconnect the power cable
  2. Remove the batteries from the remote control
  3. Press the Free key for 5 seconds
  4. Insert new batteries observing the direction of the + and - terminals
  5. Press the small button to start the reset procedure
  6. Repeat the reset procedure corresponding to your remote control

Contact Free customer service

If your Free remote control no longer lights up even after the procedures seen previously, it is very likely that the malfunction is of material origin. In this case, it will be necessary replace your defective remote control.

Contact then Free customer service by phone online or in store so that they will quickly send you a working remote control. The most direct solution remains to contact them via their telephone service at 3244.

  1. For the Revolution remote control, another operation that worked for me was to remove the batteries then press Vol + for 10 seconds and then replace the batteries and the cover.
