If your Sauter oven locks due to the activation of the self-cleaning function, it will unlock automatically once the procedure is complete. However, it is important to note that this function may take many hours and that the door will not unlock until the oven has cooled to a safe temperature. This process can take up to an hour, especially after pyrolysis where the temperature can rise up to 500°C!
If the lock does not release even after waiting long enough for the oven to cool down, you can try restart the pyrolysis function for a few seconds, then turn the button off and wait a few minutes. The oven should then unlock by itself.

Reset oven Jump to unlock
Si previous procedures failed to remove Sauter oven lock, then try to electrically reset. This procedure makes it possible to delete the errors and malfunctions recorded in the memory of the oven which could be the cause of the blocking of the oven.
For reset it :
- Unplug the oven electrical outlet or turn off the power at the circuit breaker supplying it. Be careful, if other electrical devices are connected to the circuit breaker, remember to turn them off to avoid damaging them.
