How to reset and reprogram new Velux solar roller shutters?
If you have have your Velux solar roller shutters installed in 2022, the procedure for resetting and reprogramming the limit switches may have changed. In this case, here is how to proceed:
- Remove the right side cover by unclipping it
- Press the white engine settings button twice consecutively
- Wait 30 seconds
- Briefly press the white button once again
- Close the window quickly and within 10 seconds press the " stop » then on the button « descent » (within 3 seconds)
If the manipulation did not work, try the procedure again, this time pressing the reset button on the remote control after step 4.
How to program an SSL Velux roller shutter for the first time?
Si you have never configured the Velux solar roller shutter because it has just been installed, there is no need to reset it. Then proceed to its configuration by following the operations below:
- Close the roof window and raise the shutter to its highest point
- Remove the right flange of the roller shutter box (near the solar cell) to access the reset button P and at the 1/0 switch
